Where is that Baby Stuff?

Ryan and I were talking the other day and found that while we have a infant car seat, at some point I had taken the cover off to wash it and never put it back.  So it is somewhere in our boxes of stuff.  Knowing this and knowing that I should be doing something to prepare for the baby, I decided to go pull out the 0-3 boy clothes and other baby stuff.  As I searched for the clothes I couldn't find anything except GIRL clothes and lots of them.  I finally look through a 6m boy box and found a couple items of 3 boy clothes but that was it.  Until Ryan came home and told me he put the 3 month clothes under the bed.  Whew.  I threw all the 3m boy clothes in the washer and started on sorting through the girl clothes.

We have boxes and boxes and bags and more boxes of girl clothes.  We're not having a girl and we might not ever have a girl so I've been debating what to do with all the stuff.  Well, I sorted all the clothes into their different sizes.  They had been filed pretty well, but there was a lot of mixed items just depending on when I pulled stuff to store.  Our front room looked pretty ridiculous.  We have at least 4 time as much girl clothes as boys.  I have 1 diaper box of boy clothes for each size...and it's not bursting at the top or anything. 

After sorting I was a little overwhelmed with what to actually do with it all.  We ended up fitting all the girl bedding/blankets, 3, 6 and 9 month clothes into one clear tupperware (thanks to some suction bags).  And got 12, 18, 2T and 3T into tupperwares for now.  We'll need to buy more suction bags to have them organized how we want.  It felt good to get something done and know that I wouldn't wake up to a front room full of clothing piles.
