Some of my favorite pictures from lately. Costco with 4 kids under 4, painting, beading, teaching each other how to get around the baby gate, and playground time.
The baby gate teaching was pretty funny. I could not figure out how Hannah managed to get to the other side, but Jonathan was doing his best to join her (and getting frustrated in the process). Later I saw that she had moved some boxes and wiggled in from the behind the stairs. Smart girl.
For Kherington's Birthday, the Lingenbrink's gave Kherington a couple book with some fun activities including going to the movies, and a shopping spree. Yissel took Kherington and Isabel shopping for matching outfits. They came back with a normal outfit, 2 dresses, a neckace and bracelet, pajamas and sandals. They both loved it. I'm totally stealing that idea in the future.
Jonathan and Hannah were born just 2 months apart (Hannah was born the week we moved to Texas). It has been so much fun to see them grow and actually start playing together.

Texas Bugs
This rental house has been awesome for our family, but I am so over the bugs. The windows and doors don't seal and with the extra rain we've had an increase in bugs coming indoors. Oh, and not just bugs, slugs too. It is gross. I've found slugs inside by our back door, by the window in the kitchen, in the living room, in the dining room under out table, and upstairs in the playrooms. Nasty. And then we have ants. We had carpenter ants when we first moved in, but they sprayed and I haven't seen them since. Now we have sugar ant in the kitchen, plus when I thought were more ants to the side of the kitchen but when the pest control came out to spray I learned they were actually termites. Then last night I went to put something away in the playroom and decided to check the windowsill for slugs. I pulled up the blinds to find a bunch of dead ants or termites (they looked different tahn the other ones I had found so I'm not sure which). Ugh. We are out of here in less than 2 weeks and it can't come soon enough.

Sunday's On My Own
We had stake conference today which meant 2 hours of trying to keep 3 kids quiet and listening to the speakers. The first hour went really good. It helped that Jonathan slept for about half of it. The second hour was rough. I ended up taking Jonathan out in the halls for awhile and when I came back in the first thing Kevin said was, "Kherington hit me." I looked at Kherington and her response was, "I didn't hit him...that hard."
In the afternoon we went on a family bike ride to the park. When we got to the park, I hadn't even finished putting our bikes up and I looked over to find Jonathan sitting in the only puddle. After that I figured I might as well let him enjoy it.
Back at home, I hosed Jonathan off and then put him in the bath. We did dinner after bath which ended up being a bad idea. He once again out ate all of us and ended up ready for round 2 of baths. We finished the day with s'mores roasting on the stove.
