After the Y this morning, we went over to the trails and did Kherington and Kevin's first a long bike ride. We probably rode about 3 miles. They did awesome! We rode around the lake and then out to a playground where we pit stopped for lunch and time to run around. The kids were tired by the time we got back to the car but asked to do it again another day.
Having Ryan gone means we all go to Kherington's baseball practices and games. It is a good thing their is a playground right next to the field. One of the days, the splash pad was on so the boys spent the hour running through it. Tball has been pretty inconsistent because of all the rain Dallas has been getting. It makes the fields too wet to play on. Growing up in Seattle and doing all normal activities in the rain, it make me laugh that rain cancels practices and games.
When we tried to go to Urban air a couple weeks ago for Kevin's birthday it was closed, so it got pushed back to today. I love doing a fun activity with the kids instead of a birthday party. Isabel and Kevin had a blast running around after each other, having races through the foam pit, and jumping as high as they could. Thankfully, Jonathan slept through most of it which made my life a little easier.
The kids continue to crack me up. When picking Kevin up from Isabel's, they had found out gospel art picture book in the car and sat on the grass flipping through it together. Pretty adorable.
That evening, I went to check on the kids at night and found they had taken every pillow in the house and made a pillow tower on Kherington's bed and then went and slept in the corn on top of a lego box. I have no idea how that could possible be more comfortable than a bed.
Kherington and Kevin had dentist appointments today so we had to go pick Kherington up from school early. We had Isabel with us and I snapped this adorable picture of Kevin and Isabel while we we were waiting for here. They definitely deserve a cutest couple award.
At the dentist while Jonathan and I waited for the kids to get their teeth cleaned, He had a fun time climbing up and singing on top of the bench and then pacing around acting like he was writing things on his notepad. He is getting so old!
Here is how the kiddos eat breakfast at 6:50 in the morning. Kherington rushing to down some food before rushing out the door, Kevin chilling and Jonathan trying to get in on the fun. They are all getting so big!
I love having these kids together and it makes me sad to think in just about a month we will be leaving. Today they helped themselves to goldfish by pouring them directly onto our kitchen floor. It's a good thing we aren't germophobes here.
Grandma gave Kevin an awesome pirate tie. He normally fights wearing a tie, but was actually okay with it this Sunday. Plus I got an cute picture of him all dressed up for church.
