Final Disney and Paris Trip

We planned a long weekend to Disney and Paris which the kids have been excited about for quite some time.  Once again, the night before leaving Kherington woke up and threw up...then she asked to watch movies instead of going back to bed.  An hour later, we threw both kids in the car and headed off to Disney.  Each other time she has thrown up it's been more of a one time thing then she's fine.  This time was a little different.  The entire time we were actually at Disney she was fine and normal and you won't think anything of her being sick.

We ran into the Hatch family at Disney and went on a couple rides together. Kherington and Seth had a blast on Buzz together then on autotopia, we traded up the adult/kid combination and I got to be driven by Benjamin and Kherington drove Jenny.
When we returned to the hotel for naps, Kherington started not feeling so well again.  She actually threw up when we were heading back from the parade and firework show.  It's a good thing we had an extra set of clothes for Kevin and that Kherington is small enough to share his clothes.  As soon as we were in the park she was normal again and that was the last of it.
Until the next morning when Ryan and I both woke up not feeling too hot.  Two sick parents isn't the best way to start a full day of Disney with two little kids.  We still managed to stay from 8am - 6pm which is actually the longest day we had ever spent at Disney.  We started the morning with some pastries from the train station right outside the Disney gates which are at least half the price of those inside Disney.  We rode the fire engine and car, watch a couple different shows and ended the day with the parade.  Oh yes, and Kherington wore her tennis shoes so she'd be tall enough to ride the roller coaster.  Definitely a highlight for her.  We had tried the day before but in her flats she was just a tiny bit too short.  The shoes gave her the extra height she needed.  During one of the shows, both Kevin and Kherington fell asleep.  Everyone found it quite funny as they streamed past us exiting.
Both kids were tall enough to do the parachute drop this time.  I was sure they would chicken out by the time it was their turn or start crying in the middle of the ride, but they both loved it.
We met lot of characters this time around and it was definitely one of the highlights for the kiddos.  They loved getting their autographs and taking pictures with them.  That is except for the villains that were out in celebration of Halloween season.  The villain were not so friendly and the kids didn't really get why.
We took the train into Paris after the morning magic hours one of the days.  We figured it would be our last time.  There were really only two things I wanted to do.  First was try the Falafels on Rue du Rosier.  They were good, but I wouldn't go out of my way for them.  We did find a little playground around the corner for the kids.  It was a little too big for Kevin, but Kherington figured out how to climb all the way to the top.  It was funny watching kids much bigger than her trying to figure out how she did it.  From there we took the metro to the other place I wanted to go which was La Basilique du Sacré Cœur.  We walked up a LOT of stairs (Kevin and Kherington decided to climb the slanted cement instead) before reaching the church. I had heard it has beautiful veiws of Paris which is did, but I prefer the view from the Arc du Triumph better.  It was also way more crowded than I expected it to be and Kevin decided to have a meltdown which didn't help anything.  We took the funicular down the other side of the hill.  So in one day the kids got to ride the train, the metro and a funicular.  We love public transit.  I have never loved Paris or France.  I've felt more like it's nice to see the main sites, but then after that wasn't super impressed.  With that said, the portion of Paris we explored this time had a much different feel that made me like it more.
