I woke this morning to go for a run, but found this outside. Too bad Jonathan didn't get the 'snow day' memo.

Randoms
This month one of the teachers a the Y decided to have us do a fit test once a week each week. We tracked how many of each exercise we could do in 1 minute. The exercises were high knees, burpees, squat jumps, push-ups, pull-ups, weighted v-toe touches, and dips. The last exercise was to see how fast we could run 1 mile. My fast pace running 3 miles is an 8:30 pace so I figured I would be lucky to break the 8 minute mark. Here were my times: week 1 - 7:20, week 2 - 6:50, week 3 - 6:38 and week 4 - 6:27!
We were getting ready for FHE, but hadn't made assignments so Kherington wrote them down and put them in a hat. When Ryan drew his paper out, it just had scribble on it. Kherington told us it was a 'skip' card and he would have to draw again :).

Foil Curls
I saw a little youtube video about using foil to make quick curls. Kherington let me test it in her hair and then actually requested it the following morning. It is VERY rare for her to allow me to touch her hair. It took a couple minutes and turned out pretty cute.

Perfectly Timed Belgian Surprise
Best package ever! And it came just as I was sitting here missing Belgium and this awesome family. Jenny can we please be neighbors...ideally in some foreign country where we can travel the world together?

Jon Bon Update
This is Jonathan for you. He LOVES to eat and is usually found in his high chair. He also loves to unload the cupboards. I have the cupboards with glass 'locked' with hairbands, but the other ones I don't mind him playing in.

Food
Strawberries went on sale (kind of strange considering the season), so we bought a bunch and made strawberry freezer jam. When I let the kids taste it, Kherington ask if she could have a cup of it like a smoothie. Pretty tasty. Asparagus also went on sale so I bought a bunch an froze it. We will see how it tastes once we use it.

Kiddo Time
The kids can be super cute sometimes. When we picked ice cream cones up at the store, the kids really wanted the mini ones which I was good with. Jonathan loves sitting at the kids table and loved his little ice cream cone. In the mornings, he likes to let the cars roll down the bosu.
