Jonathan - The Sucker and the food

Everyone was running around getting ready to go to dinner. When I finally tracked down Jonathan, I found him just chilling on the Elmo couch eating a sucker.  I have not idea where the sucker came from and neither do the other kids.

Then at dinner he was our best eater.  He LOVES beans and Pappasitos makes some of the best.

Friends

I had watched my friends kids for the day and ran out the door to get Kherington at the same time she picked up her kids.  Well, I came home to find all sorts of surprises in my kitchen.  So thoughtful of her and so nice to not have to cook for the next couple days :).

Book Character Parade

Kherington had a character parade as school and of course she brought me the note the night before the parade.  She decided she wanted to be Gerald the elephant from Piggy and Gerald.  I ended up taking some grey leggings I had been trying to get her to part with and making them into the elephant trunk and ears then letting her wear my grey cardigan.  She was happy with finished product.

Randoms

There are always random pictures that are miss filed or don't have a good place, but I love and here they are:
Taco Tuesday's at Rosa's with the Lingenbrinks it always fun.  You can't beat 8 bucks to feed the family something everyone loves and have leftovers, plus to do it with a friend and 3 other kids makes it all that more fun.

Kherington is in love with this new shirt.  She is a hard girl to please when it comes to clothing but definitely has her own style.  And on the style note, Jonathan doesn't wear jeans often, but they made him look so grown up!

In honor of my Uncle Mike who passed away very unexpectedly a year ago, we went on a family bike ride in his go-to bike outfit: jeans and a t-shirt.

First LONG bikeride

After the Y this morning, we went over to the trails and did Kherington and Kevin's first a long bike ride. We probably rode about 3 miles.  They did awesome!  We rode around the lake and then out to a playground where we pit stopped for lunch and time to run around.  The kids were tired by the time we got back to the car but asked to do it again another day.

Tball between the rain

Having Ryan gone means we all go to Kherington's baseball practices and games.  It is a good thing their is a playground right next to the field.  One of the days, the splash pad was on so the boys spent the hour running through it.  Tball has been pretty inconsistent because of all the rain Dallas has been getting.  It makes the fields too wet to play on.  Growing up in Seattle and doing all normal activities in the rain, it make me laugh that rain cancels practices and games.

Kevin's Urban Air Birthday Jump

When we tried to go to Urban air a couple weeks ago for Kevin's birthday it was closed, so it got pushed back to today.  I love doing a fun activity with the kids instead of a birthday party.  Isabel and Kevin had a blast running around after each other, having races through the foam pit, and jumping as high as they could.  Thankfully, Jonathan slept through most of it which made my life a little easier.

After Urban Air, we went to Costco for lunch.  Isabel made sure we sat next to the window where you could watch them make the pizzas and that became a highlight of the lunch.
