I'll be honest, I completely forgot about Sinterklaas this year until right as the kids were going to bed. We had them leave our their boots (forgot the carrot). Good thing Sinterklaas still remember them. They were pretty excited when they woke up to chocolate for breakfast and a new bath toy.
We hurried Kherington our the store to school. It was snowing which added a little excitement. When I picked her up she brought her Sinterklaas craft (which had a huge chocolate Sinterklaas in the pouch in the back and an awesome black cat made from taping black tape to an old laundry detergent bottle. I love the crafts they do at school. I'm not quite as exciting at home, but we did do some coloring and stickers. Kevin did his picture below 100% on his own. We continued our day of chocolate with hot chocolate and marshmallows, then Ryan came home with another couple Sinterklaas chocolates from the partner at work.
