Normal Life

I have once again decided that there is no such thing as normal life because life is just constantly changing. I keep thinking that after X trip I'll get back into the 'normal' swing of life.  Well, we got off our trip, had family visitors, then had friends visit the following weekend.  As of now we don't have any other visitors planned for the entire rest of the year (so those of you thinking about visiting should give us a call or email and make it happen).

I know I've mentioned it before but I love love love that Kherington goes to school.  It's nice to be able to get errands ran with just 1 kid in tow and to be able to have Kevin time.  She is at school from 8:25am - 12:05pm every day.  A couple days before mother's day I picked her up and she came out with this cute package for me that she made during art time.  Pretty awesome :).

For me and Kevin, our mornings consist of grocery shopping and running any other errands.  Pretty much just walking all over the place. We've been starting the morning's off with some dance music.  They both like to get their groove on in the morning (really just about any time).  Ryan's better at mixing it up, but when I have to do the music we normally listen to Cotton Eye Joe over and over and over again.

Kherington is now an expert iPad user...see she can do it with her feet...I didn't like that one very much.  Her and Ryan have been making lots of mug cakes that take just a couple minutes to mix up and cook in the microwave.  Oh, and yes, she still loves her salami...but hasn't been much into cheese lately.

Kevin is a busy boy.  He is ALWAYS into something.  He likes to climb and play with cars...so climbing on the toy parking garage is a favorite combo.  He also now knows how to take the lid off the sandbox.  I used to close it right back up, but now I just let him get dirty.  When he comes back inside I strip him and he's done with outside though.  I must admit the sandbox was not my brightest idea.  He likes to eat sand and since it's been raining so much and the box has a leak it's not a great combo.
