There is a ginormous park not too far from us with some nice trails, since it hadn't rained a ton lately we decided to take the kids for a 'hike' and to feed the duck. On the 'hike' we stopped at a couple of the fitness stations. They were pretty difficult. I don't think I could run then stop and actually do them...then again judging by the number of cobwebs on them I'm not sure people really do use them.
We walked up to where there are 10 trails intersecting. This is where Elder Jeffrey R. Holland dedicated Belgium for missionary work. After a short stop (an a couple misquito bites) we headed down to the pond. We ended up running into some friends that Kherington goes to school with (twin girls). They are from the Czech Republic and will be moving back to Prague this summer. We met them at the playground near our house before starting school and their mom speaks English so it's really sad that they won't be here anymore. Well, the kids fed the ducks together...Kherington is still learning to tear off pieces of bread instead of throwing the whole thing in and asking for more.
*I learned later that some geese are very very aggressive so I doubt we will be feeding anymore ducks/geese.
