On New Years Eve, we finally decorated the gingerbread houses I bought after Christmas last year. I let the kids have a free for all with all the leftover Halloween candy (then trashed it when they finished decorating).
I've been trying to start some traditions and I extended this New Years Eve. The plan was to go look at some lights, have nachos and little smokies, then play games until late. Instead, Kevin and Kherington fell on the way to the lights. Then when we got there we found it had ended the night before. Both kids transferred from the car to their tent (last night sleeping in the tent). So Jonathan roamed around while Ryan and I enjoyed some nachos, got a movie started. Of course then Kevin and Kherington woke up and wanted Mac n Cheese for dinner. So they had that, we played trouble, watch a New Years countdown in Japan and then Ryan, Jonathan and I went to bed while Kevin and Kherington stayed up watching movies.
