Dana arrived with a cute, happy Charles in tow! She'll be watching out little munchkins while Ryan and I go on a Holy Land cruise. This last week we've spent teaching her the in's and out's of everyday life plus packed in a little bit of travel.
Cousin Time
The kiddos had a great time playing together, having some quality car seat time together as we drove, eating, swinging, bathing, etc. I love watching cousins play!

Aachen, Kebap and Three Corners
This trip might look a little familiar seeing how I just did it with the kids we watched, but Ryan hadn't gone and it's a easy fairly close trip. We hit up downtown Aachen, Istanbul Kebap House, the Three Corners and Metro (think Costco...but not nearly as good). At the Metro I found these amazing nutcrackers for just 12 euros each and Ryan found these awesome 'hot socks' which are basically slippers lined with rice so they can be heated up in the microwave.

Downtown Brussels
Dana and I took the bus downtown one of the days and wandered around in the rain. For lunch, we got sandwiches but Kherington opted for a pink donut.

Free Museum Day
The first Wednesday of each month many of the museums in Brussels are free, so we met up with some friends and took the tram up to the Museum of the Middle East and found a playground to play on after our tour.

Patisserie
I decided I should probably show Dana how to walk to a delicious pastry shop so she could go on her own while we were gone. While the best waffles are from the market, my favorite pastries are from this shop...more specifically a cream filled crescent with chocolate on top. Yummy!

After a week, Ryan and I got ready for two weeks of kid free time and Dana got ready for being a single month of 3 in a foreign country. I would say I definitely got the better end of that deal :).
